Lauren Derry

Lauren Derry is the Director of Assessment Services with Foundations for Life Principles.  She decided early on in college to pursue social sciences, following a desire to help others and engage with the community. After graduating from East Tennessee State University with a major in Psychology and minor in Social Work, Lauren started with the company as a Family Specialist in 2017.  Eager to learn as much as possible, and always willing to lend a helping hand, Lauren has worked in many roles within the company before settling into her current position in October 2020.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and pitbull.  She loves to nurture her son’s own love of learning through homeschooling and exploring local parks and libraries.  Lauren is an avid reader, Tennessee Vols sports fan, and enjoys travelling to small towns around East Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
